Delivery Options

All large items such as Lampshades are delivered by UK Mail at a postage cost of £7.00 which will be added to your order at the checkout point. All small items, such as makeup bags and tea-towels, will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class, at a postage cost of £3.00 which will be added to your order at the checkout point.

Ownership of Rights

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Silk & Screen. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute or repost anything on this website for any purpose. Consumer Contracts Regulation: All goods bought from this site are subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which implement the Consumer Rights Directive in UK law. The regulations apply to items bought online, at a distance, or away from a trader's premises (for example, at home or at work). They replaced the Distance Selling Regulations and Doorstep Selling Regulations in June 2014.

• Your right to cancel. Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel; you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Your right to a refund. You will receive a refund within 14 days of either Silk & Screen receiving your goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner. Please note that Silk & Screen reserve the right to make a deduction to this refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you may handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Refunding the cost of delivery. Silk & Screen will refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service e.g. guaranteed next day, we will only refund the basic cost.

At Silk & Screen, we make every effort to ensure that all the products shown in our online shop are in stock but, if we are out of stock of any items, we will e-mail you directly to inform you. We will let you know if we can deliver your goods at a later date or offer you a full refund.


In the unlikely event that your goods arrive with any fault, please contact us on +44 (0)7951 746756 immediately to arrange a return. Please note that, as all our products are handmade they may differ slightly from item to item.

Risk and title of goods

Risk of damage to or loss of your order passes to you at the time of delivery to you, or if you fail to take delivery at the agreed time, the time when delivery was attempted. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full. Orders supplied are not for resale. Payment Credit/Debit card orders are processed securely by our preferred method of Stripe. Payment is by credit or debit card basis with orders on our website. Alternatively, if you prefer to pay by cheque, please phone us on 07951 746756 to place your order; cheques are subject to clearance before your goods will be despatched. Cheques should be made payable to “Silk & Screen.” We reserve the right to charge bank charges on cheques which are presented. We reserve the right to refuse any credit card transactions.


There is no VAT chargeable on any of our goods.


To ensure all your beautiful Silk & Screen products arrive safely, they will be wrapped carefully and delivered in a sturdy box. Please recycle and reuse all packaging where possible.
